Friday, January 31st, from 6 to 8 pm in the MPR.
Bring your math, science and engineering games like Rubik’s Cube, Legos, Operation, or TinkerToys. We’ll have many fun science stations, including:
Exploring Oobleck:
Get some hands-on experience with this non-Newtonian fluid. Is it a liquid or a solid? Who cares? It’s fun (and messy; maybe bring a smock)!
Build Your Own Volcano:
Can you build a model volcano in two hours? We’ll have basic building materials—cardboard, paper and plastic bags, cardboard rolls, balloons, rubber bands, and plenty of tape—so you can make a small volcano model without waiting for papier-mâché to dry, along with plenty of baking soda and vinegar. Many volcano projects get submitted to the science fair each year, but this is your chance to show off your volcano making skills.
Love Elementary’s Science Fair will be held on May 8th.
Come to Science Night to find out more!
Bring dinner or purchase Pizza for the family. Love PTA will provide free beverages and popcorn.
