Welcome to the Love Art Docent Program
The Art Docent Program is run and supported by dedicated parent and community volunteers.
Being an Art Docent is a great way to be involved in your child’s classroom. Your kids love creating colorful and fun projects and it is a wonderful and rewarding way for parents and guardians to contribute to their learning experience. You don’t have to be an artist or know about how to teach art to help or participate in the program. We have resources, curated online demos and lesson plans to help you.
If you can’t lead or help with lessons in person, we can also use your help outside the classroom with other art docent related projects. We will need help with cleaning and organizing supplies, inventory, content creation, proofreading lessons, special one time art and craft events, or you can work and share with the kids a cultural piece or a special craft that is close to your heart.
